Dominic is Supervisor, North American Equity Fundamental/Consensus Estimates Data Production for Reuters Americas Information Management Group, Toronto. In his present role, he oversees the production of equity fundamental data and consensus estimates data for Reuters in both North and South America. Dominic manages the Data Analysts who collect these data sets from third party vendors and integrate it into Reuters global historical databases so it is available for distribution to Reuters products so it is available in a timely and effective manner.
From 1997-1998, Dominc acted as the lead Data Analyst on a major project to release full-depth US equity fundamental data for the Reuters Plus product, the companys premier US equities information product.
In addition to his role in the Americas Information Management Group, Dominic is Reuters representative to the Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) working committee, an intra-industry group formed to develop XBRL, a language which uses XML-based data tags to describe financial statements or private and public companies.
Prior to his work at Reuters, Dominic was responsible for settling institutional trades for CI Mutual Funds.
